Cost of deployment

Certainly, your Web Solution will cost you initially but you must concentrate on the big picture. The Solution is a one-time expense that will generate appreciable Return on Investment. Let me put it this way, take that expense and put it as a balance sheet item. At the end of a pre-determined period, we would calculate an ROI for you based on set objectives and expectations.

How do we pay for it?

The first thing is to convince yourself that this Solution is for you. Thereafter you take the total cost of the project and look at various options available. One of the options may be to divide the total cost by the number of students and charge the parents. Once the parents are convinced about the value propositions offered they would pay.

Another option may be to get the sponsorship of reputable organizations that have interest in Information Technology Development.

How do we finance the purchase of computer equipments?

The computer equipments you will need include the ones to facilitate the operation of the Web Solution and the desktops for the teachers. For the future, you will need computers for each student. Hosting, Bandwidth and storage issues

This will depend on the traffic on the site and data size. We envisage a student population of 700-1000 at the maximum and data entry for 10-12 subjects.

10GB Bandwidth for traffic would be more than enough in our view. This is how the transfer of data to and from your server each month. This will be adequate for your requirements.

Site hosting would have at least 1GB for storage. This is enough for thousands of documents and images. We have projected for the growth of your schools and rightly so.

Every week we back up everything on your site, your email, and your database to a special location so that if any damaging occurrence should ruin your site you can restore everything perfectly.

Data entry

Currently a means of entering data off line is not available, but we can provide method of importing all the offline data in the form of CSV files. This will make the process user-friendlier as you can review data before transfer.

Security issues

Access to the Results Section of the site is secure. The Administrator of the site activates a parent profile once he has authenticated the parent’s identity. Parents can only view the results of their children/wards as indicated in their profile.

Site updates

Someone assigned within your organization will make additions and changes to your site when needed. The interface is very simple (all the work goes into the programming before we launch) and makes changes instantly. Naturally, for a small fee we will be glad to make any changes/additions for you.
